Eliza Kopalak

BACP Registered Counsellor

About me

I imagine you are feeling distressed in some way and would like to get help. No matter what is happening in your life or how bad you are feeling, you can find a way to make sense of your pain and answers to your struggles. 'No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it'. Albert Einstein

I am a qualified Psychosythesis counsellor providing comfortable space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and experiences. To ensure the safety of my practice I am committed to my own professional and personal developmental as well as regular supervision with a highly experienced colleague. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to their Ethical Framework.

I am particularly experienced supporting adults, facing all kinds of challenges and issues related to anxiety, self- esteem, relationships, career, parenting, failure/success concepts, sexuality, meaning, loss and bereavement.

Additionally to my privet practice I work as an Honorary Counsellor, seeing bereaved clients in St Joseph Hospice in East London.

My Approach

Psychosythesis is an integrative and transpersonal psychological approach, particularly focusing on human potential. The emotional, physical, mental and spiritual dimensions in which we exist are taken into account; wisdom and intuition are being facilitated and accessed and a healthy self-esteem fostered.

Problems are treated as opportunities for growth - stepping stones to a more meaningful, fulfilling and authentic life and relationships.

With embodied presence and compassionate kindness you will be held, supported and guided by me on the therapeutic journey. I encourage you to give yourself a chance and take the first step.

First Steps

After an initial contact by e-mail we will arrange a session as soon as we can. In our first meeting we will have time to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy at this moment and for you to ask questions about my approach or the process of counselling. By the end of the session we should have an idea whether we want to work together.
