Kei Iino

BACP Registered Counsellor

About me

I have trained integratively in order to tailor to your individual needs. My approach to care is to listen to you and to be attentive to what your head might want and what your heart may be calling for. I also regard counselling as a co-creative process, therefore I like to work relationally, and I hold a safe, confidential space, being open and accepting as well as engaging with your challenges and difficulties. I hold space for you to empower yourself and to flourish with your potential, within yourself, your relationships and your innate creativity.

I pay holistic attention to the body-mind-spirit connection, with a compassionate approach to soul- making.

I am an MBACP registered counsellor working for the NHS in brief counselling and in private practice.

My practice has dealt with a wide range of issues, including: dealing with life transitions and changes, bereavement and relationship loss, identity and sexuality, depression and anxiety, anger management, issues dealing with physical chronic symptoms and illnesses, relational problems, issues of self-esteem.

I have trained with the modalities of psychodynamic and developmental psychology; transactional analysis; gestalt; Jungian, archetypal and transpersonal psychology.
