About me

My previous experience in the private sector as a multiple businesses manager over 10 years gave me additional insight into the struggles of both corporate employees and commissioners. As well as an understanding of the stress related and time management challenges they face on a day to day basis.

My personal journey though led me to qualify with a Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy and currently continue as a MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy. Over my study, I determined how to use my own experience of balancing the extremes to humanistic orientated practice.

With over 5 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy, I work within many diverse, challenging and multi-layered requests helping people to recover, thrive and productively rebuild their lives be it an addiction, learning disability, traumatic brain injury, break-up, bereavement, loss and life status updates. I am particularly passionate about the topic of third-culture in adults. And have successfully assisted many people within the immigrant community to lessen the culture shock and psychologically prosper in a new environment full of challenges and discoveries. I work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, burn out, self-esteem, shame, culture shock and issues around sexuality.

I believe strongly in personal responsibility, amplifying our awareness about us in a surrounding world as the basis of all work with any of my clients. I never treat two people the same, after all, the real hard work is in the details, in the minutia that can bring a productive resolution. Client empowerment is one of the centre points of my work. I hope you will consider a therapeutic relationship with me and we can work together to achieve your goals and bring productive, sustainable and positive change into your life and the lives of loved ones around you.
